Tourism Benefits for Singapore?

As this event caters more to the local families and children, there are not much tourism benefits brought in.

During Carnival for the family, i managed to see some tourists with Singaporean friends having fun with 2 families at the same event. There might not be an huge increase in tourist with this festival going on but there are still a small number of them who comes and experience the family carnival while they are in Singapore.

Another way that this event would have tourism benefit is through the success of the festival. By cultivating our young ones to be stronger museum going people, they would understand Singapore's heritage better. With this in mind, they would be able to impress tourists by answering their questions at any point of time. We would then be able to create an impression in tourists that Singaporeans know our heritage and history well and thus they would have a good impression left of Singapore. Only when the tourists are impressed, they would spread about us when they go back to their country through the word of mouth and then encourage their friends to visit us. Even before they return to their countries, we might also have tickled their interest, leading them to visit our museums.

In the long run, we might even have the world's leading museums and thus creating a lot of tourism revenue! WHO KNOWS RIGHT?(:
